Friday Night Dinner

Omi and Poppa's good friends Charlie and Mary Griffen came to town for the night and we all went out to dinner. We had a very nice visit and Megan decided to decorate Omi while we visited.

Sleep over at Omi and Poppa's

Saturday the girls went to stay with Omi and Poppa for the night so Chris and I could have a date night. Chris and I had a great evening and so did the girls. Thank you Omi and Poppa!

Santa

This past Tuesday the girls were ready to go see Santa and take a picture. When they first saw Santa they were really excited but once Santa started talking they both started crying. Michelle was a little confused because Santa had candy and she didn't know how to get it without walking up to him. We sat on the side for a bit to see if they would get used to him but that did not happen. So we ate lunch then the girls rode the Carosel. It was a very nice day and we did end up getting their picture taken with Santa a few days later. It turns out they have no problem with Santa as long as he doesn't speak to them....go figure!

Decorating the Tree

Decorating the tree this year was alot of fun! The girls placed all the ornaments on the bottom of the tree and then Michelle thought it would be fun to take them all off. They each had a turn placing the Santa on top the tree and as you can see Michelle just loved that.

Happy 2nd Birthday Michelle

Michelle had a wonderful birthday! We celebrated it at home on Saturday. Omi made her a beautiful cake (thank you Omi) and she just loves all of her presents! Ashleigh spent the night and the girls just had a ball.

Thanksgiving Visit

I know I am a little late updating my blog but I can not seem to remember to bring the camera with me anywhere! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and we celebrated Michelle's 2nd Birthday with our family in Slidell. The Abney's joined us...Kiki was our photographer! Megan had so much fun playing with her cousin Hailey....they really play so well together! I'm not surprised because her mother and I NEVER would fight as kids!! Michelle loved all her presents and the girls ate cake and cupcakes that my grandmother made (thank you Mammo). We had a wonderful lunch on Saturday with Aunt Sandee, Uncle Mike, and Dylan from Georgia. Dylan is growing up so fast and is just the sweetest little boy! We also spent Saturday afternoon with our friends the Straughan's. Megan & Michelle had a blast with Callie, Mason, and Jacob. Paw-Paw took them on a tractor ride and they roasted hot dogs for dinner over an open fire. We love you guys!!

What will she do next?

Apparently I do not give my daughter enough to drink.... she needs to climb in the bathroom sink to get a sip of water!

TGIF

Tonight we had dinner at our house with Poppa and Omi. Chris cooked Chilli and we just hung out and played with the girls. They kept us laughing especially when Michelle decided to go for a ride in the baby stroller! We never know what they will come up with next.

Trick or Treat

This year we joined the Abney's and went trick or treating in their neighborhood. Megan decided she wanted to be a kitty cat this year and Michelle was a bumble bee. Ashleigh was a cheerleader and pretty much cheered her way down the street. Ryleigh (Ashleigh's little sister) was a kitty cat as well. They were all so adorable! Megan was sick so she only made it through half of the trick or treating. Michelle, however, couldn't get her little self to the doors fast enough to get some candy. It was a great night for trick or treating but we could have done without the mosquitos. We ate pizza and lots of candy. Megan is already trying to decide what to be next year!

The Photo Shoot

I figured it was about time I had some pictures taken of my girls...I know it's been a while! So I hired a referred photographer from the area who did a great job. The girls had fun and it was a beautiful day.

Ethan turns Three!

We celebrated Ethan's 3rd Birthday last month at McDonald's in League City. Ethan and his friends just had a blast! As you can see Michelle and Connor didn't miss a beat with the cookies and ice cream!!!

A trip to the Zoo

Last weekend we took a trip to the Houston Zoo with the Abney's. Since the Saints were not playing Chris & Craig pulled "daddy duty" for the day. Megan & Ashleigh had a blast in the petting zoo and wore themselves out chassing the pigeons.
